Drones That Follow You

The Basics

Drones are a product of our cultures new found fervor for space age tech. They are getting smaller, faster and have finally become popular among regular users. They are have also struck a fire in politics on concerns of privacy, flight regulations, etc.

Lets start with the basics. A drone fly’s through the air unmanned via remote control. They come in all sizes from the size of your palm to huge spy drones with wingspans the width of your home. Basically the idea of a drone is the same no matter the configuration. The technology has allowed us to fly the sky, scan for terrorists, or capture some wedding footage. Now that we have that out of the way lets talk about the Lily camera & how crazy this new tech is.

The Lily Camera

We don’t like to promote only one product in our stories as to avoid sounding like a paid endorsement. However, we really are not aware of any other drone on the market that is going to be available with this level of quality and simplistic use.

Ok, so the Lily Camera. Its a small drone that follows you around filming your every move (for up to 20 minutes). Sounds crazy? It gets better. This little drone is completely turn key. You don’t need to know how to “fly” a drone, or spend time configuring motors, etc. This drone works by tracking a small circular tracker you keep on your person while the drone is in flight. The drone has GPS sensors to fly a steady distance from you allowing you to capture anything from active sport footage to film scenes. Sounds simple, yet very advanced & exciting right? Even getting this drone off the ground is the easiest thing we’ve encountered yet with this style of tech. All you do is turn it on and throw it in the air. It catches itself mid-throw and balances out in the air.
